Prayer is an essential component to what we do here at Lincoln First Church.  There are many opportunities for you to become involved in the prayer ministry.  Here are just few of them....

Prayer Chain

When there is a specific prayer need, a group of dedicated prayer warriors are called into service. Intercessors from the local congregation and from across the country have dedicated themselves to responding to the prayer needs of the church.

Mens Prayer Breakfast

On the first Saturday of every month, our men gather together at the church to fellowship and pray.  Beginning at 8:30 am, the men pray for the needs of each other, our church, and our community.

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray.  Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.    James 5:13-16
